The Busted Knuckle

After three hours of using hand files and a die grinder, my TY175 engine is done.

All the unwanted tabs are gone, mufflers removed and all the tail wiring extended to go under the seat. Still think I need another tail. I can see the rear frame to much.

I’ve been working on a new cafe tail for my bike. It, a old GSX 250 tank cut up. Working the shape and lines of the tank to fit. It’s a big job for me because I have no skills in metal work. Hope it looks good, this is the third tail I’ve worked on this bike.

Cleaned my carbs up. I have to get the beast going soon?

Odd Job SR542 by Deus Ex Machina

Deus make some cool racers and brat style bikes. Deus bikes are the reason I wanted to build a racer.

Mock up seat cowl. I think it’s a bit to high. I’ll have to work something out. Trying to work with the lines of the big square tank.
